The Bad Baby Names Hall of Shame

This blog was made to call attention to the ridiculous names that parents are bestowing upon their children. The names come from on line web nurseries and announcements. Don't e-mail me or send me comments about how your kid named Tadym, Kaydyn, Karsynn were named after dead or dying relatives. I don't buy it and even if it were true the names are still awful and shouldn't be used. Your crappy names are not unique. I've seen all these names used more than once.

Little Sparrow

To the woman who commented that Braylee is unique.. It's not. I've seen it spelled Braylee, Braylie, Brayli, Braelee etc

Now, to the big news of the day..

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have named their son Sparrow James Midnight Madden. Does anyone like Sparrow? I think it's horrible. A sparrow is a weak little bird. And the sister is named Harlow. I'm sensing a trend. Suggestions for a sibling: Bow, Glow, Afterglow, Arrow, Bungalow, Elbow, Hollow, Marshmallow, Wheelbarrow, and my favorite.. Shallow.

Here's a good one - my babysitter has a daughter named Azaryana. If that's not bad enough - their last name is Uglum
